Emergencies aren’t Koolookin. Being prepared is.
I spent ten years with My Patriot Supply — I was there near the beginning, and I know these products from the inside, not from a catalog. Then Hurricane Irma came through Florida in 2017 and knocked out our power for five days. Our well runs on electricity, so no power meant no tap water either. We cooked and drank using pool water run through our gravity water filter, ate our stored emergency food, and ran the essentials on backup power. That week taught me what ‘prepared’ actually means — and it’s why this page exists. Everything below is gear I trust, from the company I trust, because I’ve lived on both sides of it.
Why take my word for it?
I spent nearly ten years inside My Patriot Supply — I was there close to the founding, and I know this gear the way you only can from working with it every day, not from reading a catalog. Emergency preparedness isn’t a hobby I picked up or a trend I’m chasing. It was my profession for a decade, and it’s still a way of life. Koolookin is my main project now, but being ready? That’s permanent. The videos on this page tell the story better than I can summarize it here.
